  • The scholarship should be awarded as an entitlement fund and not replace institutional funds, for College of Law students selected by the Egly Scholarship Committee and confirmed by the Office of Financial Aid.
  • When a scholarship recipient is identified, the name of the recipient and the award amount will be sent by the Egly Scholarship Committee to the Office of Financial Aid for verification and awarding of the scholarship.

External Scholarships

The Eberst Law Firm $2,000 Scholarship
  • Must be currently attending or planning to attend a college or university during the Fall 2022 academic year.
  • Must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution, if applicable.
  • Students must apply to the contest through email and provide their name, address, and the name of the institution they are attending or plan to attend.
  • Must include a link to their video essay in the email by the deadline of August 10, 2022 at 11:59pm.
  • A winner will be chosen by August 12, 2022.

2022 Carole Bailey Scholarship
  • The U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2022 Carole Bailey Scholarship, which will award at least one annual law student scholarship of up to $5,000 in honor of the Court’s former Deputy Clerk of Administrative Services, Carole Bailey.
  • The deadline for applications is 11:59pm Eastern Time on September 15, 2022.
Bruce K. Lee Chicago Applicants will be required to answer a simple question and the winner will be awarded $1000 Scholarship towards higher education.

  • High school students graduating this calendar year and have been accepted into a college, university, trade school, or design school.
  • Students currently enrolled in a college, university, trade school, or design school.
  • All fields are required. By submitting an application, the applicant gives Bruce K. Lee consent to use their essay, name and information for marketing and promotional purposes. There are no costs or fees associated with application for this scholarship.
  • One student will be selected to receive $1000 Scholarships funds based on the best answer to this question, “Please explain a personal hardship or catastrophic life event that you have experienced.”
  • The deadline for the submission date is November 30, 2022.
  • The winner will be selected in December, 2022 and contacted in early January and have two weeks to respond. If the winner does not respond, a new winner will be selected.
  • A committee will select a winner by the end of December, 2022. 10 winners will be selected and receive $1000 each for a total of $10,000 towards higher education.

2022 GJEL Law Student Scholarship
The Peck Law Group
Scott Senft Scholarship Fund This scholarship is Scott Senft’s way of contributing to and encouraging those sharing his goal to improve the lives of the less fortunate through all legal services. The $1,500 that this scholarship offers is meant for students entering a field where the law is concerned. The scholarship will consider students in the following majors and degrees:

  • Legal studies;
  • Paralegal studies;
  • Criminal Justice degree;
  • Political Science degree;
  • Criminology degree;
  • Forensic Science degree;
  • Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree;
  • Any other undergraduate pre-law degrees.

How to Apply:

  • Complete the Scholarship form found on our website. (Click here to download the form).
  • Submit an essay of 850-1,150 words that outlines your future goals and what you plan to do with the degree you earn.
  • An official transcript reflecting your current academic standing, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and proof of enrollment. If sent via email, an unopened official transcript must be sent by mail to the address at the bottom of this section.

Submit the above mentioned requirements by mail or via email. Failure to include all of these requirements will result in the rejection of your application.

Melmed Law Group Collegiate Scholarship The employment lawyers at Melmed Law Group P.C. proudly support the pursuit of success through higher education. We also understand that higher education can be a challenging financial investment for some, and we’d like to offer our support. To that end, our office offers an annual scholarship to one college student at the end of February of each year.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Students must be a U.S Citizen or a permanent resident.
  2. Students must either be a law student or have completed at least one year of college or university and be currently enrolled.

To Apply – Essay

Students must submit a 500-1,000 word essay on the topic of how they were impacted by an issue of workplace fairness.

You can be creative: this can be a reaction to a news story, a personal anecdote, or anything else. What does workplace fairness mean to you in the context of a larger social and economic structure?

We are looking for creative and exciting ideas.

  3. A PDF of the response to the essay prompt.

Our Collegiate Scholarship Award is a one-time, monetary scholarship award that is to be used for academic purposes.

You can use it to pay for school tuition, room-and-board, or other school-related expenses.


Auger & Auger Disabled Scholar Award
  • $1,000 scholarship award.
  • Applicants must be either a current graduating high school senior with acceptance to an accredited school or an undergraduate student at an accredited institution within the United States.
  • Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
  • Students must submit an unofficial copy of their transcript.
  • Deadline for Fall Semester- July 31st; Spring Semester- November 30
The May Firm Bi-Annual Scholarship Fund The May Firm, we understand the importance of an education and just how difficult it can be to finance college these days. Robert May, our founding attorney here at The May Firm, was the first in his family to attend college! He’s incredibly appreciative of the opportunity he had to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for his undergraduate degree, then moving on to law school. As we all know, the cost of obtaining a higher education keeps rising, which can often times put students in a tough situation, both mentally and financially.

Glotzer & Leib’s Scholarship Fund We’re proud to support recipients by helping them cover college-related expenses. The winner(s) will receive a check for $1,000. We will be offering this scholarship bi-annually.

Heshmat Mirsepassi Endowed Scholarship for Muslim Students The faces of elementary school children Heshmat Mirsepassi taught in her native Iran lingered in her mind for decades. Many of those children came to school with just a crust of bread to ear for an entire day. One day, she vowed, she would have enough money to help them.
