Adjunct professor Joseph Richardson, Esq. teaches California Civil Procedure and Trial Advocacy. He leads the Racial & Economic Justice practice as Partner at the law firm of McCune Wright Arevalo LLP. His practice group is designed to be a voice for the community; it is intentionally and uniquely positioned to bring actions against entities and institutions whose policies disproportionately harm people of color in the workplace and the consumer/small business marketplace. The group encompasses areas including employment, civil rights, and consumer and small business class actions. Joe is a graduate of the University of Redlands and Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. In addition to his fulltime practice, Joe speaks to college campuses on legal and ethical responsibility, justice issues, and leadership, serves on many boards and committees, including the Committee for the Elimination of Bias for the San Bernardino County Superior Court, and is a Planning Commissioner in the City of Redlands.
