David Lopez

David Lopez, with nearly three decades of experience as the general manager of the Rubidoux Community Services District, oversees the efficient delivery of water, wastewater, solid waste, street lighting, and fire protection services. He excels in negotiations, fund management, and representing the District in intergovernmental committees. Under his leadership, significant capital projects like the Wellhead Nitrate Removal Water Treatment Facility have been successfully implemented. Lopez’s financial initiatives led to savings for constituents, while partnerships facilitated projects like a new Fire Station and landscape conversions for nonpotable water sources. He holds a master’s in public administration and a bachelor’s in political science.
