We accomplish this mission by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>strengthening students\u2019 confidence, ability and self-efficacy;<\/li>\n<li>helping students develop and practice critical academic and legal skills; and<\/li>\n<li>guiding students through the process of becoming self-regulated learners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By developing and practicing critical academic and legal skills, students create a strong foundation to succeed in law school, on the bar exam, and in the practice of law.<\/p>\n<h2>About The Student Success Center<\/h2>\n<p><span>La\u00a0Verne Law established the Student Success Center as a resource to help La\u00a0Verne Law students identify and strengthen critical <\/span><span>academic and bar exam skills <\/span><span>during law school.\u00a0 SSC <\/span><span>faculty teach an array of academic\/bar exam skills including LAP I (New Student Skills Orientation), 1L academic skills for Contracts, Property, and Civil Procedure, 2L Strategic Legal Methods, and the 3L\/4L Capstone.
