<\/a>Public Health Concentration<\/h3>\n

This concentration focuses on measures to prevent disease, promote health and prolong life. Public health activities aim to provide conditions in which people can be healthy. The emphasis is on populations and systems, not on individual patients or diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

<\/a>J.D.\/MPA Dual Degree Program<\/h3>\n

The College of Law and Public Service offers a dual degree program for Juris Doctorate and Master of Public Administration (JD\/MPA). The interdisciplinary curriculum prepares graduates with the background knowledge and skills necessary to assess the integrated functions of public law, policy development, and execution within all levels of government agencies and private or nonprofit quasi-governmental organizations. Upon satisfying all the requirements for both programs, graduates earn two separate degrees, a J.D. degree awarded by the College of Law and Public Service and an M.P.A. degree awarded by the Department of Public Administration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
