Who may borrow material through Interlibrary Loan?<\/h3>\n

Interlibrary loan service is available for La Verne Law students, faculty, and staff.<\/p>\n

What types of material can be borrowed?<\/h3>\n

Books, photocopies of periodical articles, dissertations, theses, microfilm, and microfiche may be requested.<\/p>\n

How long will it take to receive requested materials?<\/h3>\n

Please allow a minimum of two weeks<\/strong> for items to arrive. Availability of rush requests depends upon the library from which the materials is being borrowed. Receipt of interlibrary loan materials by a specific date cannot be guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Where do I pick up ILL materials once they have arrived?<\/h3>\n

Materials may be picked up at the Circulation Desk at the Law Library during normal library hours. Requestors will be notified by e-mail once their materials have been received at the library. Materials not picked up by the due date will be returned to the lending library.<\/p>\n

How long may I keep ILL materials?<\/h3>\n

Photocopies of journal articles are yours to keep. The due date for books or other materials are clearly indicated on the tag attached to each item. If you wish to renew the materials, you must request this at least one week before the due date by contacting\u00a0 library staff by email<\/a> or by phoning (909) 460-2070. Materials which the lending library sends with a statement of “No Renewals” will be clearly marked as such on the item’s tag.<\/p>\n

How do I return materials once I am finished with them?<\/h3>\n

Materials should be returned to the Circulation Desk on or before the due date to avoid overdue charges. Please do not remove the ILL tags. This assures your materials are returned promptly to the lending library.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
