October 29th Event Offers Registrants 6.75 MCLE Credits

 

Distinguished panelists, dynamic content and lively discussion will highlight La Verne Law’s 2015 Civil Rights Symposium on Thursday, Oct. 29 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Ontario. With registration and a continental breakfast beginning at 8 a.m., the day-long event will include panels of practitioners and scholars discussing national issues and developments concerning §1983 Civil Rights Litigation.

Topics include Basics of Civil Rights Litigation, Supreme Court Review, and Body Cameras in Law Enforcement. Included among the participating will be Attorney Dale Galipo from the Law Office of Dale Galipo; Max Huntsman, County of Los Angeles’ very first Inspector General; Lt. Bruce Blomdahl, North Area Commander for the Riverside Police Department; U.S. Magistrate Judge David T. Bristow; and Erwin Chemerinsky, founding dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law.
