Alumni

Every graduate of the University of La Verne automatically becomes a member of the University of La Verne Alumni Association. Membership is free and comes with many general benefits and services. All alumni, also affectionately known as “Leos,” are welcome to contact the Office of Alumni Engagement at (909) 448-4665 with inquiries.

The University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service has a long tradition of educating distinguished scholars. Our 1,500 graduates practice in every area of the legal profession; they also work in business, government, and public interest organizations throughout the United States and abroad. More than 40 College of Law and Public Service alumni have gone on to serve in the judiciary.

Alumni are integral to the ongoing success of the College of Law and Public Service. They serve as mentors, sponsors, and advisors to current students and graduates, opening doors for them worldwide. The College of Law and Public Service Affinity Group works with the ULV Alumni Advisory Board to coordinate programs and activities that encourage alumni involvement. These include an appellate advocacy program, moot court competitions, speaker panels, mentor and e-mentor programs, and mock interviews. To learn about volunteering, please contact Robin Apodaca in the Student Affairs and Career Services Office at (909) 460-2018.

Alumni also have opportunities to network with faculty and the law community through golf tournaments, legal community sporting events, networking receptions, Continuing Legal Education programs with alumni guest speakers, and awards recognition ceremonies.
