Professor Kevin Sherrill graduated from California State University San Marcos with his B.A. in History in 2004. Professor Sherrill then attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he served as the Chief Research Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. Shortly after graduating with his J.D. in 2008, Professor Sherrill was admitted to practice law in California.
After graduation, Professor Sherrill served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ellen Carroll in Unites States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. Building upon that experience, Professor Sherrill worked in consumer and commercial bankruptcy, while also developing state court litigation skills.
In 2011, Professor Sherrill left private practice to pursue a career in legal education. From 2011-2012, he worked for Southwestern Law School in their bar support program, and in May 2012 he became an adjunct professor at the University of La Verne College of Law. Professor Sherrill was hired as a full-time member of La Verne’s staff in 2013, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor.
