The symposium features scholars, government leaders, attorneys, and experts on water-related issues. Our four panels will explore the impact of the drought, new water-related legislation, contemporary approaches to water allocation, and socio-cultural issues related to water. Representing Minors in the Education Arena: Special Education Dispute Resolution Process

The San Bernardino Superior Court and the San Bernardino County Bar Association are establishing a pro bono panel of attorneys to assist and advocate for minors involved in juvenile court who have unmet educational needs. This workshop will cover the various processes and procedures that can be utilized to resolve disagreements that may occur when working to provide a positive educational experience for minors. Federal law provides specific options for resolving disputes to accomplish the shared goals of improving results and achieving better outcomes for children with disabilities.
