Important Exam Information

Exam Numbers will be emailed to you by April 25.  Be sure to use your new Spring 2013 exam number for all Spring semester exams.

Rescheduled Exams   If you have two exams scheduled on the same day, exams scheduled on three consecutive days, or if your exam conflicts with your regularly scheduled religious observances, you may contact the Registrar to reschedule one of your exams.  Rescheduling arrangements due to religious observances must be made each semester.

No early exams are permitted.  Requests for rescheduling must be received no later than April 1, 2013.

Missed Exams   If you need to be absent from an exam, please notify the Registrar’s Office as soon as possible.   Serious illness is the only reason to miss an exam and documentation from a physician or medical center will be required for permission to take a make-up exam.  Be aware that in some cases the make-up exam may be given the next time the course is offered.

ExamSoft Users:  We are pleased to provide ExamSoft to our students so exams can be typewritten. Only laptops with ExamSoft installations may be used to take exams; no other computers, typewriters, or word processors are permitted.  In order to type your exam, you must have downloaded the current version of ExamSoft and your correct course exam template to your laptop computer prior to the start of the exam.   Exams may not be submitted on incorrect templates.  If you do not have the correct template loaded and available at the time of the exam you must handwrite your exam.  Please be aware there is no guarantee that you will be able to utilize your laptop in all cases. There have been occasions where students’ computers have failed to work at the time of the exam, due to hardware and/or software issues.   If your computer or software fails to work at the time of the exam, you must be ready to handwrite your exam.  Please visit the ExamSoft website (www.examsoft.com/lavernelaw) for more information regarding registration and installation of this software on your laptop.

Any questions or conflicts should be brought to the Registrar’s attention as soon as possible.  Please call (909) 460-2010, or email cmurray@laverne.edu.
