Meet alum Cynthia Carrasco
Ask Cynthia Carrasco why she entered law school, and she’ll tell you that her parents dared her to do it. And now, as the Executive Director for the Hispanic National Bar Foundation in Washington D.C. and a 2005 graduate of the University of La Verne College of Law in Southern California, she is passing along that dare to young Hispanic-Americans across the country.

Meet alum Elizabeth Yang
When Elizabeth Yang was offered an associate position at Howrey LLP, one of the largest international law firms in Southern California, she was informed that the offer was contingent upon her passing the California State Bar exam on her first attempt. And although the pressure was on, Elizabeth was confident she could do it, because she was prepared.
