Admission Requirements

The College of Law is committed to attracting qualified applicants from a wide variety of educational and career backgrounds. Applicants must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university. The Admissions Committee, comprised of faculty members, seeks out applicants with solid undergraduate academic performance and a competitive LSAT score. The Committee also considers qualitative information, such as writing ability, letters of recommendation, employment history, community service, maturity, and leadership.

A complete application to the College of Law includes:

A completed and signed application form
LSAT score report
A $60 application fee
A personal statement
Two letters of recommendation
Current LSDAS subscription

All applicants are required to register with the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS). LSDAS keeps records of letters of recommendation, transcripts, and the LSAT score. Additionally, students who are admitted and who accept the College of Law's offer of admission will be required to submit official transcripts directly to the College of Law prior to registration for classes.
